Entry Points and Airports
Cyprus is served by two main international airports:
- Larnaca International Airport, the primary airport with the largest number of international connections
- Paphos International Airport, serving several low-cost airlines
Participants are advised to use only these airports. Ercan International Airport is not a recognized entry point into the Republic of Cyprus.
Transportation to Nicosia
The conference venue is the University of Nicosia, located in the Engomi area.
From Larnaca International Airport:
- Distance: approximately 50 km (40–60 minutes)
- Taxi service is available 24/7 and offers direct transport
- Car rental is a flexible option and available at this airport
- Driving route: A2 motorway connecting to A1 toward Nicosia
From Paphos International Airport:
- Distance: approximately 140 km (1.5–2 hours)
- Taxi service available but more costly
- Car rental is a flexible option and available at this airport
- Driving route: A6 motorway to Limassol, then A1 toward Nicosia
Cyprus has a well-developed highway network, and driving is on the left-hand side.

October is one of the most pleasant months to visit Nicosia:
- Daytime temperatures: typically 27–29°C
